KS3-Residential trip 2018
After an early start the group returned to the Activity Centre and built on the different ways they stretched themselves yesterday to go even higher and tackle the Sky Coaster, the Flying Fox Zip Line and the Climbing wall.
Everyone challenged themselves and after overcoming initial nervousness many of the children went back to try the activities several times over.
After a delicious lunch sampling some of the regional food specialties the group were driven up a mountain valley of Karen villages to the edge of the 40 metre abseiling cliff.
With a view of the enormous Bee Tree in the background, every single person in the group successfully completed the difficult descent.
For the rest of their lives they are sure to remember the way they pushed through their fear to overcome obstacles. They should be really proud of themselves!
Everyone is looking forward to the kayaking tomorrow morning and returning to school tomorrow with stories to tell from the trip.
Alasdair, Hong and Tom
