I hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend observing and celebrating the coronation of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun as King Rama X.
Art Week Celebrations
It was a real thrill to see such imaginative and exuberant Art emerging throughout the school last week. Stairways, ceilings, walls, walkways and even trees filled with colours of the students’ Art. We will be holding an Art Exhibition in the week of beginning May 20th so that you will be able to savour more of the students inspired and inspiring Art.
The students’ wishes hanging from the walkway are heartfelt and show great care for the environment, their families and their passions to achieve their dreams.
Here are some photos to give you a taste of the Art taking place around our school – and please do come and have a walk around the school to see for yourself.
On Thursday our young cricketers visited Shrewsbury International to take part in a tournament. Our team performed very well, were properly organised in the field and displayed excellent technique to take wickets from the other schools and deny them opportunities to score runs. While batting, our team developed very strong partnerships, communicated well with one another and kept their eye on the ball in order to hit some very good shots and score runs. On this, their first big tournament, they marked up a win and a draw which will give them even more confidence for next time. Well done to the whole team. Mr Aaron
Model United Nations Conference
We are very proud that a group of students from Years 7 to 9 will be joining delegates from a range of schools at an MUN conference in Bangkok this coming weekend. They will be discussing, debating and finding resolutions to pressing world issues. Good luck to all our delegates.
Next week I will be going to London to recruit more teachers to add to our team. In my absence, Mr Lewis will be the named person to take the overall lead in the school.
