HHIS Newsletter – February 3rd 2020
Monday February 3rd 2020
Last Thursday, over 200 students took part in our annual sports day events. Our primary school enjoyed a range of activities before taking to the track for their races. The secondary school concluded their sports day with their competitive track events. There was a wonderful atmosphere and everyone walked away feeling positive about the day. Our students displayed excellent perseverance, teamwork, competitiveness and sportsmanship. Both primary and secondary events were very evenly balanced with our eventual winners winning by one point. It truly was a team effort with every throw, goal and run contributing towards the team’s overall points tally. Congratulations to the primary Green Team and the secondary Red Team for their victories and a huge well done to all competitors for making it such a success. Finally, a big thank you to all our parents and family members for showing their support and encouraging the young athletes. Mr Aaron
KS1 Visit to Pranburi Forest Park
What a fantastic time the children in key stage one had at Pranburi Forest Park. They explored a range of habitats: beach, mangrove forest and woods, and the animals that live there. They were very observant and fortunate to spot crabs, lizards, insects, birds and butterflies! They also spent time on the beach collecting litter in order to clean up the beach environment. They then used their artistic skills to sketch the landscape and to explore natural resources for habitat collages. What a fun filled learning experience for our intrepid and inquisitive key stage one students. Ms Jo
U17 Basketball Match
